Akira Ink

Who doesn't know Akira (seriously, if you don't, stop what you're doing and start watching it)? Maybe one of the most famous anime out there, probably the one who made anime popular in the west. Even though the movie is over 20 years old, it still is amazing, looks great and is timeless. And guess what, the comic is even better. That one is a true masterpiece, it looks gorgeous and the story makes much more sense.

I made this one for an anime filmfestival in Arnhem, called Yume Ichi Ya. I made it on A2, which is huge for me. I mostly work on A5, which is 16 times smaller, so it was quiet a challenge, but I liked it a lot.

Big and small tree

Hellboy

The right hand of Doom

I love this character, the stories, the mythology and the amazing art of Mike Mignola. What's more to say?

Blood

Blood

Blood stains my hands. Blood not only from enemies, but also from innocents, friends and family.

I know he has HUGE hands. I was too busy drawing to notice until it was too late, but it still looks nice.

Old Dude

Old, wise man

An ancient figure from a land that is filled with giant trees.

A very old drawing (maybe from 2000), but still one of my favorites.
